St. Casimir

Written by  Fr. Dennis O'Neill

Patron Saint of Lithuania and Poland, St. Casimir was the son of King of Poland Casimir IV. He chose to follow Christ, even withstanding pressure to marry the daughter of the Habsburg emperor.

Feast Day March 4

Patron Saint of Poland and Lithuania and is especially honored by young people striving to live pure and faithful lives.

Saint Casimir, faithful servant of Christ and example of holy youth, help us to choose virtue over comfort and faith over worldly success. Teach us to live with purity of heart, love for the poor, and devotion to Mary. Pray for us, that we may seek God above all things.

Amen.

St. Casimir, Pray for us!
